We currently have Supported Independent Living vacancies in Townsville and accommodate for male-only SIL, female-only SIL or both male and female SIL.

ADVOCACY
Our Disability Advocacy Officer provides advocacy to represent your views, needs, and expectations to service providers, organisations, and the community.
​
Our role is to educate people to improve understanding of disability, Choice and Control, NDIS application processes, and NDIS plans.
​
We support individuals with disabilities to exercise their rights, both through one-to-one support, and through supporting people to advocate for themselves.
We acknowledge that people with disabilities benefit from effective advocacy that promotes, protects, and ensures their human rights and enables them to participate fully in the community.
​
Our Disability Advocacy Officer helps to improve the lives of people with disabilities by delivering information and support to people who need assistance to be able to access and understand the NDIS system.
